Assessing Clean Mobility Options in Tribal Transportation Systems

The National Indian Justice Center (NIJC) proudly announces its Assessing Clean Mobility Options in Tribal Transportation Systems Project. The Project goal is to provide training and technical assistance to California Tribes to increase clean transportation mobility options in their communities to reduce transportation connectivity gaps, increase climate resilience, and reduce GHG emissions in Tribal communities. This Project is funded by a Cal EPA EJ Small Grants Program grant.

In this 18-month Project, NIJC will develop:

1) a template California Tribes can adapt and use to perform clean transportation assessments in their communities and

2) a 2-hour webinar about best practices for clean transportation assessments in Tribal communities delivered regionally in Northern, Central, and Southern California, involving Tribal practitioners from these regions as presenters.
